I was part of a spiritually abusive church back in the 80s.
I've come through it but realized this was going on a whole lot more than "polite" Christians wanted to admit. Ever since my experience I have prayed to God that He would somehow reach the walking wounded that I know are out there. People who love God but have been terribly hurt by the church (one kind or another). I prayed that God would keep hold of His sheep, whom He loves dearly, and that they not be scattered to the four winds. Now that I've come to your blog and have seen the blogs you follow, I know that God is doing a work.
